Troubleshooting

Common fixes for Effects issues in the viewport or final render.

Effects do not show in the viewport

• Verify compositor is enabled (Scene Properties -> Render -> Compositor).
• Confirm the TrueSKY viewport compositing preference is active.

Effect is too strong or too subtle

• Adjust Opacity and verify Enable is on.
• Balance Threshold vs Strength for bloom and glint.

Grain looks blocky

• Lower Size for finer grain.
• Increase render resolution if very low.

Ghosts or Rainbows look broken

• Reduce Iterations / Rotation Samples to stabilize the effect.
• Toggle Fit for aspect correction.

Auto Exposure looks washed out or too dark

• Switch Auto Exposure Mode.
• Adjust Exposure Offset and Weighted Size.
• Re-pick Spot Location if using Spot Metering.

Presets do not load

• Ensure at least one layer or global effect exists.
• Confirm you are using the correct scope (Layer vs Full Stack).
