Sun Bloom
Sun Bloom adds a soft glow around bright areas (especially luminous bodies). Use it for realistic sun halos or stylized bright scenes.
Where to Find It
- Open the TrueSKY panel -> Effects.
- In Layer Stack, click + and choose Sun Bloom.
- Select the layer to edit its settings.
Panel Layout
- Opacity: Master blend for the layer.
- Highlights: Threshold controls that decide what blooms.
- Adjust: Strength and color tuning for the glow.
- Glare: Size of the bloom radius.
Controls
Opacity
- Opacity: Blends the effect with the original image.
Highlights
- Threshold: Brightness cutoff; only pixels above this level contribute.
- Threshold Multiplier: Scales the threshold.
- Smoothness: Softens the threshold edge.
Adjust
- Strength: Overall bloom intensity.
- Saturation: Pushes bloom toward saturated or neutral color.
- Tint: Color overlay for the bloom.
Glare
- Size: Radius and spread of the bloom.

Typical Use
Enable for strong sun shot silhouettes; set Strength moderately (avoid clipping), adjust Size for glow radius, and use Tint for warm dusk or cool space scenes.
