Optimization Essentials

• Keep the layer stack lean (around 3-5 layers) for interactive edits.
• High Iterations / Quality costs scale quickly; dial down during look-dev.
• Auto Exposure is heavier than Manual; preview in Manual and finalize in Auto.
• Animated Grain impacts every frame; disable for stills.
• Always test a single high-quality frame before full sequence renders.

Workflow Tips

• Use the viewport for rough tuning, then validate with a final render.
• If performance drops, disable complex layers temporarily and re-enable for finals.
• Save a Full Stack preset before switching between looks or scenes.
